The one week action pact celebration of 120th Anniversary of our dear school comes to a successful round off today, 18th November, 2018. All glory be to the Most High God for His grace which was manifested throughout the different activities starting from Monday, 12th November 2018.
A RETROSPECT ON THE DAILY EVENTS:
DAY 1: MONDAY 18TH @ SOLEMN ASSEMBLY
It was a wonderful moment in the School Chapel as Pastor (Mrs) Ekei Okpo, a dynamic Old Girl, led us into the ambience of our Lord, seeking God’s guidance and benevolence as the 120th Anniversary galore was declared open.
In attendance were great vessels of God notable amongst them, the Rev. Eyo Nsa of the UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR CHAPEL OF REDEMPTION, who advised the women and the girls as well as the entire Edgerley Family to stay focused and united so as to build a formidable school as exemplified in Hope Waddell Training Institution, where he had moulded as the Principal after the government handed over to the mission. Expounding 2 Timothy 2:2, he admonished the teachers and the Old Girls to have a teaching passion and be faithful to transmit a sustainable tradition of love so as to mitigate a disconnect.
The reconnect spirit of excitement could be felt in the air and its reflection noticeable especially on the faces of the staff and students who are grateful to be partakers of this glorious REMEMBRANCE.
Our quintessential mama, the delectable Principal, Elder (Mrs) Iquo Oboko Oku, with her capable Vice Principals, Pastor (Mrs) Victory Ebong and Elder (Mrs) Margaret Cobham, was full of gratitude to God Almighty for REMEMBERING EDGERLEY IN HER TIME.
Of a truth, EDGERLEY is proudly GOD’S OWN INVESTMENT.
